emergency survival backpack

If you are considering a life in the forest hiding from civilization, survival in the wilderness is something that requires much training. But the survival of those lost backpacking or hunting or in a plane crash is something else. Here's a look at the fundamentals of getting out alive.
For starters, the food is not a high priority when you are lost and waiting to be rescued. In fact, it is very rare that someone starve when they lost in the desert. There are many other ways to die long before you get that hunger, and in any case, most rescues occur long before the passage of months, or who could live without food.
If you have injury or immediate threats (such as bears aggressive) that have to deal with them. As soon as the immediate threats are gone, the house will usually be your priority. If you've never build a shelter for survival in nature, you may want to try at some point for practice. Just remember that your goal is to keep the wind and rain and provide a space small enough for your body heat if they face the cold nights.
The survival shelter shelter is a fundamental basis. A pole or stick is inserted horizontally between two trees, then another set against him, which drops to the floor. More clubs are stacked against the roof of this "" and then covered with evergreen branches, leaves or bark, from the bottom so the last layer acts as roof tiles to shed the rain.
In an emergency you can just pile up leaves or grass and crawl in the middle of the stack. This provides shelter fast and hot. You can even keep you dry if rain or snow is light. The "dead air" space is created which is what insulates you and keeps you warm. Keep this in mind. You can also use dry vegetation as a mattress and a blanket inside any other refuge.
Water is the next important the priority of survival. Creeks and lakes are the obvious sources, but in dry areas may have to work a little harder on the location of water. Look for points under the shade where there may be clustered in the recent rains, and not yet evaporated. It might also be able to collect the morning dew, by running One piece of cloth through the wet grass and twisting the humidity in a container or directly into your mouth.
If you do not have a means to purify water, and more than a day has passed without a drink, use what it finds unless clearly poisoned (signs include lack of any plant life around the water). In general, is more likely to die of dehydration from contaminated water. In fact, many agencies, such as giardia, can take a week or more before you have symptoms, and hopefully he can be rescued by then.
Finally, it must be able to help searchers find you. Fire is a good idea to do so. have branches with green leaves or anything else that create a lot of smoke ready if you hear a plane or helicopter is coming. If you can not make a fire, find an open and expose all you have is colorful and / or large, as can be seen from the air. If you have a whistle, blow into groups of three occasions.
At least in emergency situations, survival in the wilderness is not about how to build a cabin or make bread from roots of cattails. Usually Protection of your body heat and keep hydrated while you wait for help to arrive. Food can help, and it is a comfort, but is last in the list of priorities.
