I think everywhere around Manhattan Beach and Playa del Rey I've seen signs of tsunami evacuation routes. I know it's very rare for a tsunami to happen, but if So in Redondo Beach or something, it usually affected cities further inland bay of the south? or would only happen if it were as an enormous and extremely powerful?

Make a game like musical chairs. Tell them that when the emergency alarm sounds, they need to go under the table, one person per bank. The furniture should be arranged so that there is one seat less than the total number of students in class. This can be done with older children. With young children, simply ask them to form a single line by themselves. Or follow the line and switch room to another. Keep in mind that in case of emergency should not use a lift but the stairs. However, to be a business manager is likely to have seen some of these people seeking jobs and may even have used some and realized that they are in some how "different" from regular workers.
Therefore help employers if they have an understanding of the characteristics of Generation Y.
Generation Y are commonly described as:
– Very confident
– Impatient
– Easy to learn
– Positive about the future, and
– Significant amounts of time socializing and computers using mobile phones (and thought they were wasting their time!).
What if you are recruiting people to Gen Y?
Unlike their parents, Generation Y are not in the newspaper waiting for jobs that appear every Saturday. No, they actively use search engines on the Internet for advertising and sent automatically by RSS feed to their mobile phones. Generation Y can literally send your CV for a minute after a job has been published.
As an employer, you must use Internet as their primary method of advertising vacancies. That said, it may be wise to use a two-pronged approach.
First, place a small newspaper ad that shows the name of your company (brand), the title, a reference the most complete Internet advertisement and the words just enough to excite mom and dad to tell your son or daughter.
Second, the Internet advertisement (Or website) must contain the data to drive the generation potential applicant and:
– Use fresh and bright color to make your job has a different aspect of the soft text ads
– Display photos or video of your current employees smiling at work [an informal method, but without recognizing its best employees!]
– Talk about exciting future growth and development because Gen Ys want to see that your business is not stagnant
– Mention of technology where appropriate, and
– You still need a basic description of what the job entails, remembering, however, Generation Y is to see if your site work is seen as an interesting and fun to be. For example, school children joining fast food and burgers to be cooked 1,000 a change? No! They join because they want to be part of a fun-loving team of young people.
What if your business has Gen Ys?
With Generation Y, note that their allegiance to anything is often fragile. If you do not like your work, which will then start looking for other work (although let's wait and see what impact the global financial crisis has on this feature).
